2020 has been a year like no other! One which has tested the 40-year foundations of the Players’ Fund. These difficult times have allowed us to see how truly incredible and loyal our greater support squad is, with so many of our regular donors, still making a plan to collect funds on our behalf.
The South African National Golden Oldies Rugby Association is one of these organisations which chose the Players’ Fund as the charity of choice three years ago. Due to the COVID-19 Lock Down restrictions their national tournament, scheduled to take place in Bloemfontein at the end of September could sadly not go ahead…but the committee has decided to honour their commitment to the Players’ Fund by hosting a fundraising golf day at the beautiful Wanderers Golf Club in Randburg, Johannesburg on Friday 6 November.
